We see Steve paint a beautiful watercolor of two old sailboats from start to finish; and in his clear and down-to-earth style, he demonstrates the way he paints water so that it is both convincing and painterly. Steve is a Signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society, was the 2006 AWS National Juror and sits on the AWS Board of Directors. Among the hundreds of awards he has received is the NWS “Best of Show-Purchase Award in 2006 and four awards at AWS Exhibitions. Steve’s work was the cover/feature article for the winter 2007 issue of “American Artist’s Watercolor Magazine”, among other prominent art magazines and books.
